We just returned from Fin's 4 month check up. She is off the charts in height- thanks papa and uncle mark! She's a 15 pounder now too (that makes for quite a heavy carrier seat)..and obviously way off the charts in looks. Yeah Finley!
Ryanne has been struggling a little this week, probably because she was so used to getting so much attention from Mimi last week. I'm just one person, so I can't keep up. She cries when I give her the "wrong"sippy cup, or if I suggest a diaper change or getting dressed. She now wants to do alot on her own.. "Ryanne do it, Ryanne do it"...we encourage it certainly, but it often ends with me having to wait an exorbitant amount of time or having to deep clean something. But it's worth it.
Today we were playing kitchen. Ryanne set the table with plates and forks and we each got a block that was in place of a tea cup. She then proceeded to to put her hands together and say "Amen". It was such a precious moment and reminds me, good or bad,it all sinks in eventually.
Also, thank you to everyone who showered me with texts, calls, cards and pressie's for my 33rd birthday last week. I received a fabulous new camera that I hope you all will enjoy..I think it takes slightly better photos than my camera phone. What do you think? I posted a few of my recent favorites.
If you are wondering why so many pictures of Finley and so few of Ryanne, Ryanne's new thing is NOT to be in photos, she's like a rare bird on camera these days.
